Product Roadmap
A product roadmap communicates the direction and priorities of a product over time — the problems it will tackle and why — rather than a fixed, dated list of features.
The best roadmaps are outcome-oriented: they organize around problems and goals, not a promise of exact features on exact dates. This keeps them honest as learning changes the plan.
A roadmap is a communication tool as much as a planning one — it aligns stakeholders on where the product is heading and what is deliberately not being done now.
Instead of "March: dark mode," a roadmap says "this quarter: reduce new-user drop-off," leaving room for whichever solution the evidence supports.
ArcPM keeps roadmap priorities traceable to the research, product goals and requirements that justify them through the Connected Product Graph.
